Aegis is the most advanced, high-tech warship in the world, equipped with the newest defense systems, and deployed by only a select few countries. One such warship, belonging to the Maritime Self-Defense Force of Japan, is hijacked and taken over by the ship's commanding first officer (Terao Akira - Casshern) with a group of anti-Japanese terrorists. They threaten to use the vessel's powerful missiles, filled with chemical weapons stolen from a US military base, on Tokyo. The government now faces their toughest ever challenge. Hisashi Sengoku (Hiroyuki Sanada - The Last Samurai), senior corporal on the Aegis, has no choice but to attempt to regain control of the ship single-handedly before the terrorists carry out their evil plans.
